Our loft is located in the historic Galax Theater Building - where Highlands’ first movie theater was located years ago. Updated in 2023, the loft is the perfect space for someone looking to stay in town! When you walk upstairs into the Galax Loft, you’ll immediately notice the space has been thoughtfully curated to create a modern mountain atmosphere. From the vibrant furniture, gold fixtures, and an accent wall to the natural wooden beams, indoor foliage, and antique landscape paintings, the space is a perfect blend of what’s current and classic.

The living room is filled with natural light thanks to the vaulted ceiling and skylight. The living space is a perfect spot to relax between everything you have planned for your trip!

From the living room, step outside to our balcony that overlooks Main Street. Outfitted with a bistro table and seating for two, this relaxing outdoor space is a great way to start or end your day. Read your favorite book with a cup of coffee in the morning. Pour a glass of wine and people watch as everyone heads to dinner in the evening.

The cozy bedroom features a comfortable king size bed and Smart TV. Cozy up in the hotel quality linens and binge watch your favorite show - is there any better way to relax and unwind from the day?

The bathroom is located off the kitchen and primary bedroom and features an industrial galvanized metal shower and a few toiletries you may need during your stay!

With all of the incredible dining options here in Highlands, we don’t expect you’ll want to do much cooking. However, the apartment’s kitchenette has a few essentials to help make your stay more comfortable: Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee Maker and supplies, Electric Kettle, Dishes, Soap/Sponge, etc.

Listen to Music in the Park on a Saturday during the season. Indulge in one of Highlands’ incredible fine dining restaurants for dinner. Catch a performance at the Performing Arts Center. Enjoy late night drinks at The Ugly Dog or Highlands Tavern. Do all of this (and more!) without stepping foot in your car! [All of the units managed by Highlands Vacation Rentals have wifi internet access(speeds may vary based on different providers), basic kitchenware & dishes, linens provided, and a starter set of amenities including: 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom + A set of personal shampoo, conditioner, hand & body soap (also per bathroom), paper towel rolls, a few kitchen trash bags, a kitchen sponge, some dish soap and a couple of dishwasher and laundry detergent pods. ]

CANCELLATION POLICY: Our cancellation policy (effective for bookings confirmed after April 1, 2024) is outlined below:
For reservations that are 21 days or less, A reservation cancelled ( by email receipt ) between 0 - 45 days prior to arrival is not eligible for a refund. If reservation is cancelled more than 45 days prior to arrival, guest shall receive a refund of all payments made* less a cancellation fee of 10% of the total cost of the reservation AND the cost of any trip insurance if purchased.
*Refunds do not include third-party service fees as those are determined by the booking site and we do not control how those funds are processed.
For any reservations that are more than 21 days, No refund will be given unless the property is re-rented over the previously booked dates.

Highly recommend the Galax condo!
The Galax condo is conveniently located on Main Street and within walking distance to many of our favorite shops and restaurants. The unit was very clean and beautifully furnished. The primary suite bed is extremely comfortable and the unit was perfectly stocked with everything we needed for a long weekend, including a chilled bottle of wine upon arrival! We were easily able to come and go throughout the day given the prime location on Main Street and we never had any issues with parking. The unit comes with a designated parking spot behind the building, but we never had to use it. I highly recommend the Galax condo and we look forward to going back.
