"We always love staying here with lots of dining and shopping options across the street at Tapio, plus the hotel has a breakfast buffet thats really nice and lots of food made fresh to order which is really nice! The quality is top notch! Its easy to get to and quieter, cleaner and more fun than staying downtown. If we go to Sendai, we stay here. Also the price for the rooms cant be beat for groups/families of 4 or more. The staff makes staying here so easy and comfortable! Also we love their bonfire and fireside activities and their evening bar - so many yummy goodies to enjoy!"

"Great location inside the JR station, great and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room with a good view. Various parking options available from the hotel. Ask the hotel staff for different pricing. Definitely will return to this hotel if going back to Yamagata "

"The hotel runs the place since 15 years ago, and we use from 14 years ago. Unfortunately, a few years ago, most of the staffs were changes and new young people stand up at the front desk. They always ask me, " Have you ever visit our hotel?" :( Even though I was visited three times this year. That is why, I feel sad nowadays to visit the one. According to the hotel, they will start renovation so during Jan- April they will close. I hope their renewal open will be to reach up grade service for all customers who would like to visit like second home. "

"The room is spacious, cosy and welcoming. The inroom onsen was very relaxing and nice and the staff is very friendly and warm. Recommended! "

"We did not use the onsen and we were only here for one night. Things to note… it’s very hard to travel around this area! No Ubers lol. We were able to get people to call us taxis so make sure to have cash! We loved our traditional room, I just wish for foreigners they had instructions. Other than that, we had a great stay :) very peaceful and beautiful area. The view of the mountain was awesome! "
