"The ryokan is very convenient, it is close to Nara park and railway station. Staff is friendly and helpful, the hot tub is a huge plus although you may need to learn the manner of using it beforehand and it's a bit small, the capacity is 2 persons. However there is no passenger lift available, if you hate stairs you may need to reconsider."

"The views were amazing. A perfect position to watch the sunset and sunrise over Osaka and Mino'o forest. The hospitality of the staff was so kind in a way I've never experienced before, they felt very heartwarming and welcoming. "It was super easy to walk to from the metro. The area was quiet, peaceful, and there was a great area for shopping and eating. Nara park was not far. The ryokan was incredible and the temperature was perfect. The rooms were super clean and I love that they provided amenities. "

"Great location - barely 2 blocks away from the train station. The host, Sugita, that greeted us was fluent in English! She was very hospitable and gave us information/recommendations around the area. The mall across the bridge has many cute stores and food to check out. The whole area is very quiet and peaceful. We got a room with a private onsen, facing the water - beautiful view. Strongly recommend!"

"I chose this ryokan since it was the only reasonably priced one in the Nara area. It has a beautiful garden just outside our room and the room itself was comfortable and large. The only downside to the place was the strong smell in the room and the cockroach that I had to kill as it crawled across the room."
