"Wonderful stay at tokyu stay hida-takayama. It is literally next to the train and bus terminal. Hotel is so nicely decorated and the rooms were tastefully designed and clean. Plus point on having an onsen and foot bath as well!"

"The hotel is absolutely beautiful and very convenient as we could walk less than five minutes from the train station. The staff were exceptional and very helpful. The hotel is beautiful inside and the huge bonus is that they also have a onsen which was welcoming at the end of each day. Breakfast was delicious and you could rent a motorized assisted bicycle for ¥500 for an hour or ¥1000 for three hours… it was amazing to do this and explore the city on the bikes. A big thank you to all the staff."

"Very close to the train station. Rather new hotel with very nice setup. The rooms are bigger than maybe what you find in other bigger cities in the rest of the country. Nice onsen which is not too busy when i visit."
