"Wow , our two week stay at the Kahala hotel was one we will always cherish. The hotel is immaculate and gorgeous. The chandeliers in the lobby look like they are made from beautiful sea glass , and every plant inside and outside is lush and maintained . The staff is so kind and welcoming . Shoutout to Randy the server from Plumeria and Carolynn from the front desk! Located on a private beach you can walk all the way down and find sea shells , we even saw a turtle and a monk seal! "Queen Kapiolani is a great place to stay. Nice pool, bar and restaurant area. Great location, easy walk to beach, shopping and restaurants. They also had beach towels and some beach chairs to borrow if you get there early enough. "

"It was very quaint. Staff was friendly. The road noise was loud and there is no elavator from the street to the motel. So we had a friend that had both knees replaced so it was tuff on him getting up the steps and it was quite a few (I didn't count) and you had to carry your luggage up and down. They did get a staff member to help us get them up but leaving a guest helped us."
