This place was adorable, it was very quainy, quiet and a place we would look forward to staying ahain
The cabin was just as advertised and it was obvious the owner goes through extra effort to make you stay pleasant. With the extra touches we would give the cabin 5+. Just right for the two of us.
The seasonal decor was beyond impressive, so many cute little details. The treehouse was charming and a convenient location! Check your linens upon check in, we did not and found out at bed time that there were only 2 towels and no sheets for the pull out sofa, which was unfortunate!
overall, would recommend.
Very nice, neat and clean cozy cabin. Check in was super easy and property manager was very responsive. Many thoughtful, small little snacks and items there for the guests. Surrounded by woods, but very close to town.
Great stay!!
This is a very nice getaway. It’s decorated uniquely and tastefully, very comfortable and romantic, well-supplied. We visited Bell mountain nearby with its breathtaking view.
My sister and I had a girls weekend to celebrate her birthday. The property was very relaxing and quiet and was centrally located to several areas of interest. We drove to Clayton and spent most of a day there. I would stay here again!
The property was very cute, well decorated, and the amenities were great! I wouldn’t really call it a treehouse. It’s more of a cabin on stilts in the trees. But I can’t say that mattered much to us.
We utilized this property while attending a concert at Anderson Music Hall. It was conveniently located to the venue.
The house was very cute, clean and well appointed. There are however a lot of step’s involved with gaining access to the property.
We would definitely stay there again! The host was great to work with and very responsive.
It was very cute!! I loved the twinkle lights. Perfect amount of space for two, just wish were able to stay longer to enjoy the space.
The parking wasn’t great, but we certainly understood the limitations of the landscape. Also wish the steps were a little wider going up the stairs to the cabin. I think it would feel a little safer that way.

felt like a scam
we could only stay for a short weekend and we couldn’t check in until late that day at 4pm and had to leave by 11am. drove all that way just to have to leave so early in the morning. The host left us snacks and after eating them my stomach was hurting and so was my fiances so we checked the expiration and it was expired. it would’ve been nice to know there was dogs which was totally fine but if one of us was scared of them that would’ve been nice to know. And i am also 5 months pregnant.
Beautiful comfortable property as advertised (overall 5 stars). 2 stars for check in process as we were not given the door entry code until just before check in time (VRBO glitch?). That is not a bad thing ... however ... the area the property is located in has essentially zero cell coverage and trying to retrieve check in info in the Hiawasee area is frustrating at best ... plus for some reason Google maps absolutely had no idea how to direct us to the property! So .. get your check info and driving directions earlier before you head to the property and out of cell coverage. This is in no way a negative directed at VRBO host as she was wonderful getting us in the right direction and giving us the door code when we called her. Very much enjoyed the stay. FYI driveway is very steep and will only fit one car... had to use 4 wheel drive to get up driveway as it had recently rained.
I can’t speak to the interior of this place as I was never able to get in. The owner provided the address but no access instructions. When we got there we couldn’t get in. As there is minimal cell service there, we had to go back out to the main highway to try and reach the owner. Several texts to her produced no response so we contacted VRBO. After an hour and a half on the phone, they were also unable to reach the owner so we were told to find other accommodations, which we did - at the Holiday Inn. Not exactly the kind of getaway we were hoping for. I finally received an email from the owner this morning (next day ) giving me the digital code to get into the house. Needless to say, we no longer needed it.
As far as what we were able to determine from the outside of the property, it seems relatively clean but access is difficult because of the steep stairs. Also, the driveway is nearly impossible to pull into because of the loose gravel. There is no internet or cell service there. It was just a very disappointing experience. I do not make a habit of leaving bad reviews as I know things sometimes can happen, but this was totally unavoidable and inexcusable.
