We stayed at the cabin to be close to family for Christmas. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and fully stocked. The exterior was decorated with Christmas lights and decor which was nice. Close to trails, the lake and town.
We absolutely loved our stay!!! My wife and I burned a fire in the firepit outside every night and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We will definitely be staying again.
This cabin was so nice... inside and out. There is so much room and it is tastefully furnished. The bed was super comfortable. Outdoor sitting area was relaxing... especially around the fire pit. I would not hesitate to book this rental again if I am in the area. We enjoyed hiking arne the area and also winery visits. I highly recommend Crane Creek Winery along with Hightower Creek.
Great place to get away from it all. Quiet and secluded but close to stores and restaurants. Kitchen is well equipped. Thanks to Bob for making our stay in North GA a memorable one. We would definitely consider staying here again!
My husband and I spent Thanksgiving at this wonderful cabin. The house is beautiful and cozy. Bob supplied us with some firewood and we enjoyed the outdoor firepit every night. The location is great and we love the area.
5 night get away with my husband and BFF and her husband to spend Mother's day with my daughter
Cabin very clean. Cute place and plenty of privacy. Low on TP but owner was accommodating. Could use new pillows. Love having washer and dryer in cabin. Appliances were perfect for our needs. We woukd stay again.
The pictures online do not do this cabin justice. It was very clean and the location was secluded but yet close to town. The property owner was easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again.
Perfect place to relax and getaway from it all. Beautiful cabin and property. Close to Hiawassee and Helen. Really enjoyed the outside fireside area . Check in and out was flawless due to great communication and directions from owner. Would highly recommend this anyone.
We were very pleased with the charm, cleanliness and overall experience of our stay. I wish there had been a regular toaster and maybe some sugar packets with the coffee basket. I would definitely recommend to others.
Wow! So much to gush about. First the location is close enough to town to be convenient but remote enough to feel you’re getting away from it all. The grounds are incredible. Think Japanese gardens meets North Georgia Mountain laurel. The neighbor dogs greeted our pups daily and became fast friends scampering about. Can I also mention on the second day there was a water main break and the neighbor let us know. Contacted Bob immediately and within 20 minutes a crew was there fixing the issue and water restored within two hours. Anyone who lives in Atlanta knows how jaw dropping that was! The house is lovely with generous sized rooms, a kitchen made for a home chef, and little conversation spaces everywhere. The knives were actually sharp! Pots and pans were quality and nearly everything I required for whipping up meals were at my disposal. The bedrooms were comfortable and tastefully appointed. Primary bath was luxurious and having laundry facilities right there was perfect!
This amazing cabin is tucked away in the woods with wildlife, plantation, peace and quiet. The cabin is cozy and clean. Open floor plan and open to natural light. Convenient to shopping and recreation, 10 minutes away. Tourism 30 minutes away in Helen. My only regret is not booking for longer stay!
Firstly, Bob, our host, could not have been more professional and polite when conversing prior to our stay. Very fast responses to any questions submitted.
This beautiful property was immaculant upon arrival. It is perfectly decorated, very cozy and very well taken care of.
It was very clear to say that Bob was very proactive in his planning out a Vrbo property. Anything and everything is at your disposal to make sure that you feel right at home.
The area the home is situated in is very peaceful and quiet....just what we were looking for. We enjoyed an outdoor fire, courtesy of Bob and a nice warm fire inside.
Restaurants & grocery stores are just several minutes away. The cabin has everything you'll ever need for cooking a meal, we were very impressed to say the least.
This was our 1st Vrbo experience (we have used others) and we can say that we were very pleased.
The Check-in procedure was seamless, quick and simple.
You will NOT be disappointed should you choose to rent this property for your get-a-way...again, we could not have been more pleased with the experience and our host, Bob.
We will be repeat customers of this property in the future.
We were going to be visiting friends in Hiawassee and needed a place easily accessible (no or not a lot of stairs/steps) and also where our dog could come with us. From the beginning, Bob answered all of my messages within 24 hours or less. We found the cabin description to be accurate. We had a little difficulty locating it and had to turn around in a few driveways, but that was our GPS problem. The beds were comfortable enough and there was plenty of seating. We particularly enjoyed the little sunroom-type room adjoining the kitchen. There’s a nice outdoor sitting area which we never wound up utilizing. The cabin is decorated really cute and is inviting. It is a little dark in the living room if you didn’t turn the light on due to the walls, ceiling and floor being wood and also because of the outside overall tree cover, but that’s fine. Just an FYI, while the cabin is easy to get in and out of with no steps, the master bath/laundry does have two steps up into it. There is a second full bath between the two bedrooms. Also, my husband spoke to a neighbor on our very last morning who did say people allow their dogs to free roam, but we never had contact or saw any other dogs (good because our dog reacts), only heard them barking. We would definitely stay here again and our friends were also impressed when they saw it as well.
