Spent July 4th week at tranquillity cabin #6. Small hick up with check in, but owner responded quickly to resolve issue. Travis property manager was a gem. We traveled from Charleston, SC to escape the heat & humidity, with our rescue dog Stella, who has cancer in her femur bone. Unfortunately we don’t know how much longer she will be with us. For that reason we were looking for a quite place to stay. This was her vacation, she just let us tag alone.
Cabin #6 was perfect. Good location, close to town. We drove to different towns each day with Stella, found places in each town where dogs were always welcome. There’s so much to do for all ages, rafting, zip line, wineries, brewery’s, apple orchard, boating, tubing, visiting waterfall, hiking, antiquing just to name a few.
In the afternoons after our day excursions, we sat outside with Stella, under the trees and enjoyed a glass of wine, taking in a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Looking forward to returning next summer to make new memories with our grandchildren and remember our wonderful stay with our beloved Stella.
