Wir waren zum Geocachen hier und fanden in der herrlichen Umgebung viele lohnenswerte Ziele. Wer nicht gut zu Fuß ist, hat allerdings ein paar Probleme das Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoß über die kleine Treppe zu erklimmen...besonders wenn man mehrmals nachts zur Toilette muss. Wetterbedingt mussten wir leider die Erkundung der Umgebung und die Nutzung des Gartens einschränken, aber das ist natürlich nicht die Schuld des Vermieters. Für einen Kurzurlaub ist die Unterkunft auch zu viert (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder (10 und 14) völlig ok. Das Problem mit den Mücken besteht leider weiterhin. Das Kinderzimmer ist im Sommer so heiß, dass man die Fenster einfach aufmachen muss. Dann hat man aber die Mücken drin. "a great place to rest and enjoy walks. The property itself is faultless. Plenty of outside place for open air breakfast or sun downers later in the day. Furnished with thought and a good eye for antique decor. You do need a car, and Eisenach isn't far. Surrounding roads are quiet and were empty when we went there - big supermarket 10 min drive away. Wifi connection great and the host was just lovely."

"Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende im roten Ferienhaus (kleine Anlage mit insgesamt 3 Häusern) und haben die Tage bei bestem Wetter sehr genossen. Ideal ist der Edeka mit Bäcker um die Ecke, auch die kurzen Entfernungen für Wanderungen im Hainich, zum Schwimmen im Stausee oder Stadtbummel in Mühlhausen sind sehr angenehm. Die Küchenzeile ist ziemlich klein, aber da wir gegrillt haben, war das kein Problem. Schade war, dass der auf dem Foto zu sehende Kaffee-Vollautomat nicht vorhanden...
