"Not sure they react to what's booked with Expedia etc but after hiccup. It was alright and breakfast is free. Free tea and Internet. Beds were good enough and showers were good. Next to by byker station also, the area ain't up market but the hostel is cheap and serves a purpose,"

"I booked last minute for a cycle event in the area, the directions were easy to follow, if you screenshot them as advised, phone signal is poor to non existent (bliss) The Meadow View Hut is clean cozy and well appointed, the fire burns very warm so one of the provided logs at a time. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fire, the heating is plenty on its own. Falstone is a great staging post for Kielder Forest, and there’s plenty of adventurous things to do near by, endless walks...
