"There were 9 of us there for the better part of two weeks and we all had a lovely time. Bathrooms were large and modern. It was terrific having a deck with a shaded picnic table for everyone to hang out. The pond is picturesque, if a little ripe, and the local walks and hikes are very pleasing. Renovations are ongoing: the place still needs some work, but overall it was very good."

"Lovely old building with pleasant grounds but the unit lacked a great deal. Firstly, no air conditioning on a 34 degree day is a huge problem for anyone. We had to ask for a fan and leave windows on ground floor open all night in order to get some kind of sleep. NOT IDEAL for safety. Kitchen facilities were lacking, no chopping/cutting board, no sharp knife to cut anything, no microwave heating bowl, slow oven top, no egg spatula or tongs, no toaster. "Nice rustic hotel. Room very spacious and full equipped Location is good Cleanest is good Reception is good.
