"Neighborhood in Mainz was delightful! Sleeping arrangements as advertised - two bedrooms which sleep 2 each on 2nd floor, and one bedroom with other beds/futons on top floor. Kitchen was a bit underequipped compared to our other European VRBO experiences - no vegetable peeler, no saucepans smaller than multiple gallon, very minimal spices. Kitchen not really equipped to cook. Backyard is NOT AS ADVERTISED - overgrown and unkempt waist high grass made it unusable except patio and table directly...

"The property is surrounded by beautiful fields and vineyards in a non-touristy part of the area, but also close to towns like Mainz, Wiesbaden and Heidelberg. Very close to local supermarkets too. It was great for us - clean & well appointed. Only downsides were no Wi-Fi (which we knew about beforehand) and the property on-site wine tasting was shut for a holiday whilst we were there."

The property was very convenient and located in a lovely hamlet close to Woorsatdt, close to and easily accessible from the A61 and A63 Autobahns in a beautiful setting amongst vineyards. Our hostess made us very welcome and she was very helpful as we tried to communicate with very little German and English. There is lots to see and do. "We enjoyed our stay. Great location, very close to S-bahn 8/9 (one stop from FRA AP). Nicely decorated. Only negative for me is that the bathroom vanity is high for me since I'm petite but still worked out. They had large bath towels that is rare. We met the daughter as we were leaving, and she was coming in and chatted with her briefly letting her know that we enjoyed our stay."

Insgesamt sehr dunkel, das Rollo in der Küche ließ sich nicht öffnen. Durch die Lage an der Straße auch sehr laut. Leider ist auch die Schlafcouch nicht als Bett zu benutzen, da es keine Matratze hat sondern nur harter Stoff ist. Uns blieb nur das große Matratzenlager um alle unterzubringen, zum Glück bietet das...

"Ein großes Lob an unsere Vermieter! Das Ferienhaus hat unsere Erwartungen sogar übertroffen! Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Die Ausstattung ist topp! Sogar ein Sodastream ist vorhanden. "The Houseboat Villa Nautica is not for everyone. My wife and I are 70 and enjoy staying in unique accommodations such as the tented camps in Kenya. We are self-sufficient and are comfortable living out of our two carry-on bags. We own property in the Rocky Mountains in Canada and love having our morning coffee on our deck watching the wildlife that call this part of the world home. "There has been some construction work going on therefore a bit of a star reduction. Decent location and the rooms are fine. Nice fruit at the reception. Would have been nice to have take away cups there as well. "

Elegant and Convenient for an early morning

"We stayed here due to an early morning flight from Frankfurt airport. We booked a 2 bedroom room with one king and one murphy. When we got to the room the murphy bed was not set up. In fact it was locked, and only hotel staff could open it. I would have expected the reception desk to have asked if we wanted it set up and sent some one to handle it. As it was, it did not take long after we called for someone to come up and prepare it. Our wifi did not work and we had to call twice, eventually being given a code that worked. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast is a bit pricey especially if you don't purchase in advance (36 euros)."
