"Overall good, mattress could do with replacing as it squeaked whenever you moved and window frames were mouldy and shower leaked but I would stay again. Carvery was good and parking convenient. Staff great. "

"The hotel was in a good position for Ripon’s attractions ie the cathedral and the old town with its cafes and eating facilities. The rooms were fresh looking and away from the pub in a separate stable block and were self contained but as the property had just been taken over and the pub itself was being refurbished I can’t comment on the food etc ."

"This hotel is very conveniently located right next to York Barbican. I had an event there so this hotel was a great choice. The staff were prompt and friendly, and explained everything well. The property is very secure with the gate locked and a code required to unlock and access the building. I felt very safe! Everyone staying at the hotel was considerate and quiet. I tried to keep as quiet as possible when returning, as my event didn’t end until 1am. I love that the property is also a pub,...
