"SS is a great little Basque town on the coast. We learned so much about Basque culture. We were there for 31/8 memorial celebrations. And an independence rally a week later. Food was lovely, bar hopping in the old town. Beaches also lovely. Getaria is very central to everything. Old town & Gros are a few minutes walk as is the supermarket & other shops. Apartment was clean & had everything you might need. Only downside is there are no windows in either bedroom, which was ‘stuffy’ & needed...

"Very good area & outlook from balcony has a view of ocean. A car is essential as you need a vehicle to drive to main Carrefour supermarket. A very good hotel next to Lidl supermarket with good meals at a reasonable price. Apartment recommended. Regards Joseph B."

"This little apartment was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable for our family of four. The location in the old town was very convenient for the restaurants, shops and pintxos bars but this also keant it was very noisy at night .We arrived a little early and was pleased to be allowed into the flat by the very helpful manager. There is a lift currently being installed so you have to go up stairs to access the apartment. Overall we were very happy with our stay! "

"If proximity to a beach is important to you, this apartment is in a great location. Not much in the way of fancy bells and whistles, but the beds are comfortable and the proximity to a ton of bars/restaurants is excellent. Kepa was patient with us when our arrival didn't work out as expected."

"Loved this little gem. Great communication, clean with lots of room and amazing views. You’ll need to pay for towels, sheets and the end of stay clean but as it’s reasonably priced this was fine with us. I really recommend this as a place to stay and hope to come back sometime. "
