"The property was in a long-established, quiet residential neighbourhood. Off-street, covered parking was great. The house had a beautiful view of the channel in front of the house and the Gulf Islands beyond. It was a very warm environment, included an atrium, with plenty of space for hanging out. My favorite things were the outdoor grill (try the local salmon if you can find it), the host's delicious homemade bread, and the roomba-like (Shark, actually) device that did a super job picking up crumbs and little bits of nature that blew in.
