"We were very happy with the accommodation. With a few days of rain, the extra room and games room came in very handy. The place is nice and large! It is in a quiet place and there isn't noise from the main road. Great communication from the host and house "carer." They were very helpful during our stay without being at all intrusive.The walk to the beach is a good 15 minutes, but the walk back is a decent one up the hill, so allow a little extra for that.Had room for boat parking on the grass...

"A great house for us, 3 adults & 111 year old. Convenient for showing family the beaches & getting on a Cape Reinga trip! Shops & restaurants within 2 km. Just beautiful looking out the ranch sliders & kitchen window.Only downers were no curtain on a small highup window in double room - we covered it cos we didnt want to wake up with the sun : ). Also would have appreciated a hose connection for washing sandy swimwear outside & a connection inside to use the washing machine. Wouldve contacted...

"We loved staying here. Was clean and comfortable. The bunk bed was a huge hit with the kids (although wouldn’t plan to have adults stay in this room as mattresses are foam - perfect for kids though). The red kitchen was very kitsch (in a fun way). Location was superb. Gay was lovely to deal with. I’m sure we’ll be back!"

"Perfect place for a family holiday. Location was perfect with beaches 1 minute down the road. Access to shops & food places was easy and close. The house was amazing & worth every dollar. The pool was perfect & clean, Kids enjoyed it! House was very clean when we checked in. David was easy to talk with & answered all our questions. Very helpful good guy and he was there on check in & gave a quick run down on the house which was helpful. Definitely be staying here again in 2025 hopefully! Thanks...

"The open plan living opening out onto the deck with stunning views across the water is perfect, very peaceful. The living arrangements were ideal for two couples, each with their own space (bedroom/bathroom). Our bed was quite soft so didn't get the best sleep as we prefer something a bit firmer.Location is beautiful - a few mins drive to Coopers Beach and Cable Bay. We also walked to Coopers Beach but if you are carrying beach gear it's better to drive.Quick and easy communication with David....

"Big beautiful home which is great for bigger families with teenage children with plenty of comfy couches and outdoor living. On our arrival parts of this property had not been cleaned by the previous tenants. You are expect to complete the exist clean yourself and make up your own beds on arrival with the clean linen that is available. Fridge/freezer had lots of food items in it that was expired and taking up value space. It is great it is dog friendly and fully fenced but the fence palings do...

"We really loved the house and location. New house, with heaps of space and beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. Lovely quiet area with wild turkeys and cows nearby. The only issue we had was that there were several wasps nests under the outdoor benches which meant we couldn’t use the outside area and had to buy some wasp spray to try and get rid of them to stop them coming inside. One of our group and our dog were stung. Was disappointing as we paid a lot of money for the beautiful view and then...
