"The staff in hotel went above and beyond they were so helpful and pleasant breakfast was good too. The only downside was the cleaning off the room we had to go down to reception to organise clean towels there was dust in parts of room so they are not being cleaned properly yet the corridors had staff with trolleys all day so no excuse for no room cleaning but the hotel staff made up for that they always had a smile for you "

"Stayed previously and the room was great. Sadly, room 338 was probably the worst condition room I’ve ever seen. Marks all over the walls and chunks missing out of the desk. Urgent need of a refurb. The rest of the hotel and breakfast were all great. Arrived just after 4pm and there was no parking available, very expensive locally."

"Stayed here a few times. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, great location. Had an issue with the TV not working on our last stay, apparently this is an issue across the hotel so would not recommend if a TV is a must for you. I was staying with my young daughter and the gent on duty (didn't get his name unfortunately but he was fantastic!) got us sorted in the end. It's a typical hostel. "Our budget room was small but clean. We were in the annex over the road and concerns about noise were not founded as we did not return until after midnight. The staff were friendly and helpful. As stated there is limited parking behind the hotel but we were able to park on arrival so all good. "

"Lovely stay at Ramside. First time we have been here and we will be back. Staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. Room was nice, only issue was that it smelt a bit damp when we walked in but opened patio doors and aired it and was ok afterwards. Lovely clean rooms. Beds not the most comfortable. Pillows were lumpy and a double/king size bed would be better than 2 beds put together, kept falling down the middle. Next time may look to upgrade to a premier room. "This hotel has the most friendly staff I've ever experienced! We had a wonderful time, despite an electricity cut due to heavy snow! The only downfall was heating issues with the pool/jacuzzi meant we didn't take advantage of those facilities."

"Apartment was lovely was a few chips and stains but to be expected for the price! Lovely receptionist very helpful. Parking easy and accessible. "

"Great apartment in great house. Everything was comfortable and clean. It had a little kitchenette which we didn't use but it would have been useful for a longer stay. I have marked you down 1 star on Communications as I could find the information regarding check out time on the last day and it was hard to find it online, it said 11am in one place and 12 noon another. I had to go to the Holiday Inn checkout next door and ask them in person. "
