"Hotel is stunning and in a beautiful location. Check in queue took around 20 mins to get through but otherwise pleasant. Room was on floor1, room was nice but no fridge as stated ! This needs to be known for those who carry insulin pens and need to store them in the fridge or other medication that ..."

"What an amazing place. A real medieval castle full of interesting historical features. Staff very friendly. Room large and comfortable (except the pillows which are a bit flat and lumpy). Food was excellent st dinner."

"Wonderful little cottage on a working farm. Ideally suited for Hadrian's Wall and Northumberland National Park. Val was a lovely host and if we're ever in the area again we'll certainly try to come back here"
