White Squirrel Festival weekend

Perfect for our pups and us!
Great location, 5 minutes to park we went to twice a day with our dogs. And, close to Hendersonville historic district for our fun! Having the fully fenced yard made this the perfect place for us.

Perfect spot if you have dogs
The fenced in garden was perfect for our dogs. So nice to have a property that was very welcoming for dogs, especially two of them. They loved their stay. House was well equipped and very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again when in the area.

The house was very clean and had everything we needed! The yard was great for our two dogs. The property was also close to tons of great restaurants and shops. Also not a far drive from all the hiking we wanted to do! I definitely would recommend this rental!

Adorable cottage in Hendersonville
Small, but sweet cottage with great fenced in yard for dogs! We particularly liked that it had cable tv, as in our age range, we like to watch the news and struggle when people have “cut the cord”.

Sweet house with great backyard
Very clean and the perfect size for my husband and I along with my mother and our dog. The dog loved the backyard (including enjoying barking at the neighbor’s dogs, and vice versa.) Highly recommended!

The house was the perfect size for us and the dogs. We were in Hendersonville to visit with friends and family and do a little shopping. Only complaint was there was no cable TV or we could not figure it out because there was no television guide in the book.

The owner did a wonderful job in anticipating our dogs needs...food and water bowls, treats, rawhide bones, waste bags...very nice touch. House was perfect for a couple with a well stocked kitchen...just a note, there is a Keurig machine so if you prefer another method plan accordingly. Great stay. thank you.

My husband, 17 year old son, and I recent stayed here. The property was exactly as described, very clean, convenient to all our favorite places, and super pup friendly. Check in was a breeze and the owner was easy to communicate with. The home was fully stocked with everything we could need including dog treats, waters, and k cups for the Keurig. As some others have mentioned, the house is on a fairly busy road, but it’s quiet at night and nothing that would prevent us from staying here again. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and plan to be back.

If you’re traveling with pets, this is the place!
Just want to say that we LOVED the property. Not birdwatchers really, but there are so many types of birds in the backyard! It’s been the perfect day’s ending, relaxing with a cool drink and listening to the sounds of nature. Our dog, Mabel, has found so many spots to roll in the backyard. The interior is so well done and, most imprortantly, welcoming.

Perfect pup friendly NC getaway!
This house is located in a very convenient and quiet, interestingly quirky NC neighborhood. The place was immaculate and abundantly equipped with everything one might need for a few days or much longer. The furnishings and beds were very comfortable. Twisted maple redefines pet friendly with everything your pup needs ready and waiting including a fenced yard, dog treats, and balls to toss. Eric, our host, was incredibly responsive. Great place to stay to see all the area has to offer. We will be back next time we are in the area!

The house was extremely clean upon arrival. We had an absolutely great time and would stay here again.. It is a small, 2 bedroom with 1 bath house and absolutely has every kitchen and bathroom supply you need. Perfect for a couple or a couple with 1 child. The location is not conducive to walking to Hendersonville but is a very easy 5 minute drive. As advertised it is very dog friendly and check in was a breeze. The location is on a busy corner with a little bit of car traffic during very quiet at night. We would recommend and definitely stay here again.

Cute cozy cottage with a nice yard for the dog
We enjoyed our time in this cottage. My 14-lb. dog inspected the fence and did not find a way out of the yard. It's a small/cozy house with two gathering spots outside as well. It seems to have been recently renovated and everything was clean and felt new. Sunset view from the front porch. Air conditioning worked fine despite the heat wave and the wifi was reliable. The neighborhood is a classic quirky NC neighborhood that is a short drive to various Hendersonville attractions. We (including the dog) loved "The Park at Flat Rock," which is just a mile away. Thank you to our host for quick responses to questions.

The Twisted Maple is an excellent house for a couple and their dog. Big backyard for pets to run in. House is lovely, clean and perfect for two. Well appointed and equipped. The gas grill was a plus for us. Comfortable bed. Easy access to everywhere we wanted to visit. The only drawback was the mixed nature of the neighborhood. Somewhat commercial but quiet. The house is the jewel of the neighborhood. The owner stayed in touch and took care of a minor issue. We hope Hendersonville recovers from Helene. We would love to return next year.

Great cozy house
The house was very clean and comfortable. Great location for exploring the area. Dogs loved the fenced in backyard. Sat on the deck every morning and enjoyed the mountain view. Even saw my first white squirrel!
