Enjoy a cosy retreat in this 19th Century cottage located in the charming village of Gaddesden Row in the idyllic English countryside. Sleeps 6 (can accommodate 8 but please contact before booking for details). It’s the perfect place to unwind in front of the gas fireplace or outside in the beautiful garden overlooking the horse paddock. You can create wonderful meals cooking in the large and fully equipped kitchen.
Gaddesden Row is a quiet hamlet and there are lots of cycling and country walking routes nearby. It is close to many National Trust properties including Ashridge Forest and Ivinghoe Beacon.
The cottage is within easy reach of Berkhamsted, St. Albans and London, and is just a twenty minute drive from Luton Airport. It’s also a short drive to Harry Potter World.
At the entrance to the cottage there is an intimate patio area which catches the morning and early afternoon sun - perfect for sipping coffee or tea. Or maybe a cocktail.
On the ground floor there is a comfortable living room with a gas fireplace, which leads into the dining room. At the back of the cottage is a large fully equipped kitchen with sliding doors leading out to the peaceful garden.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms and a bathroom.
The master bedroom overlooks the garden and the fields and has a fantastic Super King sized bed and a wardrobe.
The second bedroom can be set up as a twin room or a double and has a chest of drawers and a wardrobe.
The bathroom has a large bath and separate shower, along with plenty of cupboard space.
On the second floor is the lovely attic twin bedroom with the best view in the house.
Stair gates, a cot and high chair are available upon request.
