"We loved EVERYTHING. Friendly and useful staff, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, the cottage was spacious and clean, and supplied with sufficient equipment (including a recent dishwasher and quite comfortable beds). Only 20 minutes away from Amsterdam if you fancy a visit , but Volendam itself is definitely worth exploring. We highly recommend this place ."

"We used this a our main base for touring the Netherlands. It was near Amsterdam, slept 7 easily, roomy enough for us all. It was tough to speak with anyone with the accomodation before we got there as to how each room was stocked. Lots of dishes and cutlery. Nice and close to Volendam to walk into town and stroll. If we go back would use again. "

It needs a great deal of maintenance to modernise and make safe all aspects of it. It was not clean… the toilet was disgusting and the shower room not as clean as we would have hoped.
