"We had a lovely stay in a standard double room with sea view. The room was very clean and comfortable. The outdoor pool was lovely to swim in on a fairly cool April day, and the rest of the spa was great too. Breakfast was excellent - a very wide range of options including freshly cooked full Cornish. The coffee was rather weak, that's personal taste and the only thing I wouldn't have again. We loved the location. We wandered to Carlyon Bay, and along the coastal path - Charlestown harbour is only 15-20 minute walk to the west. Such a beautiful place for a night away. Very convenient for the Eden Project. The staff in all areas of the hotel were very friendly, polite and attentive. "

"I had a great stay there and the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. I wasn’t expecting the hotel to be much as the rate was really cheap in comparison to other hotel prices, but when I arrived I was really impressed. The hotel was in a quiet and nice location, the rooms were clean and comfortable and it had a homely vibe to it. I would definitely stay there again if I was to ever go back to that part of Cornwall. "Excellent stay at the Old Custom House over Easter weekend. We were able to get into our room early and were pleased with how nicely decorated and well equipped the room was. We also had a lovely view from the two windows over the very pretty harbour. The bed was very comfortable and although quite small, the room was full of character. Staff were friendly and welcoming at the hotel and the lady doing breakfast both mornings we were there was delightful. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was very good."
