"This is a lovely old hotel which has been carefully modernised .It is in a great location in Horncastle's town centre close to the market . lots of antique shops and some good restaurants . Food in the hotel was great for both breakfast and dinner , and both food and drinks were reasonably priced . This part of Lincolnshire is well worth exploring and The Admiral Rodney Hotel makes an excellent base to do so . "

"Managers couldn’t have been more helpful both on arrival and during our stay. A couple of very minor gripes - the door key needs oiling as it’s slightly rusty and sticks and the single beds have rather inferior mattresses which are easily replaced but otherwise 10 out of 10. Thank you. "

"Lovely hotel lovely grounds and surroundings. Beautiful building, very polite and professional staff who couldn't do enough for you. Excellent food, dinner and breakfast . Leisure centre is brilliant with well equipped gymn and lovely swimming pool with fantastic health suite. We had a suite room and it was furnished lovely, very spacious and very peaceful. There was not one bad point or area I could suggest an improvement with this hotel. It's fantastic."
