"We were lucky enough to happen across this gem when searching for a quiet location close to Santander that would accommodate us and our two small dogs in a hurry. We were taken aback by the extent of kindness and curtesy extended to us by Ivan and warmed by a welcome that was genuine. The accommodation is tasteful and thoughtfully responds to the 150 year old fully renovated building, replete with all of its original timber beams. "No pudimos disfrutar de la chimenea en pleno mes de enero aunque lo solicitamos expresamente. Nos dijeron que no había muchos huéspedes y no la iban a encender. Vimos que la casa estaba llena. Tampoco nos enseñaron la zona de estar de la planta de abajo para descansar un poco después de estar todo el día fuera. Eran las siete y media de la tarde y ellos tenían previsto marcharse.
