"I arranged to arrive between 5 & 6pm and was met by Stanley, the owner. As a fire risk assessor I can tell that a lot of money has been spent to get it to this high standard. The place was spotless, the bed was comfy and I had my first ever Ulster Fry for breakfast. "

A fantastic 5-star review appeared about Peartree Hill. I genuinely had more in my head so I simply made the booking. "The accommodation was basic and clean. The breakfast was amazing. The disappointing thing was the picture on the website has been taken many years ago and the shower wouldn't work in our room, there was loose skirting board and when we flushed the toilet it put water up the shower outlet."

"Botanic Rest B&B was clean and basic. It lost points for noise and safety. When we checked in we took our suitcases up the stairs. About halfway to our room in the hallway on a few stairs up, a man was doing some repairs in the doorway to a room. His tools (including an electric screwdriver) were in the middle of the stars and hallway. We had to move them, so we could get past. Pretty unsafe. The breakfast was nice. They had the usual continental breakfast and you could order hot items off...

"The Ulsterville is an amazing place to stay. We love it so much this is our third time to stay here! The shower is great and the beds are so comfy. There was a storm this time for our check in day so the nice lady from the Ulsterville rang us and let us push back our trip by one day at no extra cost…so nice of them. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Belfast! (Private car park is an added bonus)"
