"The property has been in the owners family since the 1500s. The place was rustic and quaint. Very quiet. It is literally in the middle of the woods. We were there for Ironman race in Lahti, so it was a bit far out for the event. There is limited accommodations in Lahti for an event this size. As a result we just slept there and kept our things there. The price was reasonable for the property. The only issue we had was with Interhome who is the manager of the rental. "Lovely location right by the lake. Quiet, peaceful and plenty of space in and around the property. 10L of drinking water provided. Has dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, etc. Wood burning sauna. Only gripe would be no WiFi which if advertised for foreign visitors might be a put off. "

"The pictures don’t really do justice to the beauty and amazement of this place. We live in the United States and we are already planning to come back. Amazing communication with Otto before we arrived and amazing communication with Jussi when we arrived. He showed us around and explained what we needed to do to care for the place while we stayed. The only thing I would say is that the pictures don’t fully communicate how amazing this place is. Prepare for a luxury stay. Well worth the money."

"Leider hatten wir richtig Pech mit dem Holiday Club Vierumäki: das Geschirr war schmutzig in den Schrank gestellt und in der Toilette waren braune Schmutzspuren auf dem Toilettensitz. Der Kohlenmonoxid-Warnmelder war defekt und hat schon laut gepiepst als wir die Wohnung betreten haben. Es war schon Abend, als wir ankamen und es hat gut eine Stunde gedauert bis da ein Mechaniker wegen dem Warnmelder raus kam. Von ihm hatten wir erfahren dass es Probleme mit dem gleichen Melder auch in anderen...

"The hotel operates like a factory: way too little personnel to address the needs of customers. The dining options are not really options: over-priced buffer or an a la carte restaurant which does not take any table reservations. We got tired of waiting and simply drove to another place to have dinner. The rooms are not cleaned every day (not even towels replaced which is strange as the hotel focuses on sporting). "
