"The accommodation was basic for the price we paid. hotels.com did not make it clear prior to our arrival that we would need to pay extra for bedding and towels, we had to pay additional for these at check in which was expensive. "

" paid £410 for a 2 night stay. Upon check in I was presented with a list of rules (empty bins, strip beds on departure amongst others) and asked for a €400 deposit for any potential breakages of which couldn’t be processed due to restrictive refund policies. The attitude and lack of help and welcome from staff was the worst I’ve ever experienced. No attempt to understand or put things right. The propertiy was amazing just like the pictures. "Wir waren mit unseren beiden Kindern , 6+12 für einen 5 tägigen Kurztrip da und hatten von Anfang an sehr viel Spaß. Efteling ist eine Reise wert und das Chalet sehr sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Umgebung lädt auch zu Ausflügen ein. Minigolfanlage ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber dafür zahlt man ja nichts und den Kindern hat es Spaß gemacht."

"Nice concept but poorly managed. Guests were tolerated as long as they behaved otherwise they would be fined. Cleanliness poor, terrace dangerously slippery and one of us with a bad back fell. Welcome pack reads like a punishment menu."
