"I stayed with 2 of my friends in this cute little boat. We had an amazing time where it was walking distance from the centre. Although there is no running water the host was very friendly and accomodate for us and always made sure we had what we needed. Definitely recommend if you want to stay on an affordable boat in the canals of Amsterdam!!"

"We wanted a different experience than the usual apartment and Han’s boat was it. Very clean and comfortable but requires some agility to move around…after all, it is a boat. "Wonderful experience. Martyn was very hospitable. The location is quiet and across from the zoo. Waking up to elephants and zebras was incredible. We enjoyed a nice hit tea on top of the boat in the mornings while we watched boaters and swimmers come by. We truly enjoyed this property and it’s fully stocked kitchen supplies. "

"Perfect location!! Everything is so convienent to get to and lots of shops and restaurants around. Beds are super comfy and the hotel is clean. The stairs are not steep like traditional Dutch/European stairs. There is a elevator so thats nice on check in/out days. The key policy is something we actually quite liked as it gave us a lot of peace and mind that the keys were safe and we didn't have a chance to lose it on our days out. We never had issues with having no one at the desk, there was always someone there or not too far away so we could grab our key to return to our room. There currently is construction out front and along the road however, we didn't find it inconvienent or noisy even though our room was facing the construction. Service has been great here with the morning and evening staff. Highly recommend staying in this historical hotel - one of our best stays so far."
