Take a dip in the water or walk to the fine beach in 10 minutes. The perfect combination of comfort and nature!

Heeg and its surroundings have everything for a versatile holiday, whether you come for adventure, relaxation or culture. Hop on a sailboat, sloop, SUP-board or canoe and explore the vast Frisian lakes, such as the Heegermeer. For a refreshing dip, you don't have to go far: dive into the water from the marina or visit the beach within walking distance.

Historic towns such as Sneek, Stavoren and Workum are just around the corner. Visit the Waterpoort in Sneek, the Jopie Huisman Museum in Workum or experience the legend of the Vrouwtje van Stavoren. For a unique experience, you can even cycle part of the Elfstedentocht and taste the real Friesland.
