"On my visit to Norway I looked for a property close to where I was working. As a keen golfer I noticed the property advertised an on site golf course and driving range. This was the main reason I booked this hotel. I paid extra to fly my clubs over. To my surprise on arrival there was not a golf course in site or driving range. "The Scandic Hamar is a very clean hotel and they offer a good breakfast buffet. The beds were comfortable and the rooms well appointed. What was not so good was the staff and their attitude toward guests. They were not friendly, did not smile or offer a welcoming word. In most interactions, they seemed almost annoyed to be bothered by have to check in guests, answer questions or service the breakfast buffet. "Alt stemte med opplysninger som ble oppgitt. Vi fikk i gen beskjed om hvordan vi sjekket inn sent og hvordan sjekke ut. Trekker på service for dette. Men når vi ringte alarmtelefonen for dette så ordnet alt seg! Den servicen var bra! Siden rommet var uten vann og bad brukte vi felles facilitetene og det var romslig og bra utstyrt og med utmerket renhold!"

"Vi tilbringer nyttårsaften her for å komme unna rakettene. Det er stille og fredelig, kun litt oppskyting fra campingplassen ved siden av. Leiligheten er romslig og supert med et eget soverom. Til å være en leilighet med plass til 4 personer kunne det vært litt flere tallerkener etc. Kun 2 dype tallerkener kan jo være litt problematisk hvis man er 4. Ellers er alt topp. Pluss for gratis parkering"
