Relax simply in this cabin on the Little Red River.
Upon arrival, forgive yourself if you decide to walk right past the front door to the edge of the large deck and take in the view of the river. You make it to the front door and let yourself in. You may first notice the high, vaulted ceilings over a wall of windows and sliding glass doors. In your excitement, you quickly step through the compact kitchen and walk across the wood floors to the wall of glass to catch another glimpse of the river. Yes, it is really that close! Is the water level up or down? The water level varies depending on what has been released from Greers Ferry Lake to generate energy at Heber Springs Dam.
Your crew starts dropping bags on the floor and casual furniture so you turn around to locate and divvy out the beds. From your vantage point, you know immediately that the loft bedroom has a view of the river. Down the hallway, members of the party find three bedrooms up for grabs and two full bathrooms.
Bags have been moved to designated bedrooms, all three toilets have probably been visited, and now your travel party grows curious about what can be found in the compact kitchen. Here you will find all of the essentials…unless a dishwasher is essential, because we cannot claim to have one of those. Your crew will take turns cleaning up after meals or resort to the provided disposable dishes.
