"This was my husband and I's first visit to Tranquil Ridge, and we will definitely be back with the rest of our family next time.It's in such a wonderful location. The views of the river are so pretty, and keep a lookout for the bald eagles traveling up and down the river!Our favorite thing was having the kayaks nearby to use. It made for a nice, peaceful day on the river.Thank you to the hosts for providing such a perfect property!!"

"If you are looking for a chance to be in nature and just relax this is perfect. The stars were so bright and beautiful at night! The river is close and calm enough to wade in or paddle board. The fire pit was nice and they had everything there to help you start a fire. Each room had their own heater/AC which made it nice to customize your environment. The only thing that we questioned was the fridge didn’t seem to feel cool at first but after a while it kept our items chilled. The neighbor had a dog that was friendly but did like to come up to the cabin and play with us outside. So if you are afraid of dogs just know that he is there. Was friendly but hyper. Overall a nice place to escape from the city."

"Jenny’s Farmhouse was so much more than expected. It was decorated so cute and there were games for everyone. The donkeys were comical and made us all laugh. Jenny thought of everything to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. We loved our stay and plan to go back. "

"What a wonderful stay we had! Room for our dog to run around, and explore, and to meet new friends. They have a small farm so it was fun to see the animals. The outside lighting was wonderful, and it was so peacful, and quiet. The neighborhood was really nice we took our dog for a walk for about an hour, and never encountered a vehicle. Plus farm fresh eggs in the fridge! Truly hope we will be back for another stay. "

"Very clean and cozy. Appreciated the big refrigerator. TV streaming is a little foreign to us so we had some difficulty with the TV. Gravel driveway is very steep but we made it up the gravel driveway fine in our truck. Kitchen well equipped. Appreciated the big blanket and nice deck. Will stay there again."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Morning Star. The cabin has no WiFi and is 3.5 miles from the main road, so I was nervous that we wouldn’t have cell phone service, but we still did. Cell phone calls & phone internet was fine. We have T-Mobil. Cabin is clean and thoughtful touches all throughout. They provided all the necessary housekeeping items but I do suggest bringing a roll of paper towels with you. The hot tub stays nice and hot. We enjoyed making a fire in the fire pit. We hiked down to the creek. The river rocks are very slippery so be cautious. We enjoyed the company of Miss Priss and her boyfriend very much. We even spotted a bald eagle soaring through our view. This is definitely a remote cabin and a 30ish minute drive to Hochatown. The view & the seclusion was worth the drive into town for us. We will visit again! Thanks for having us."
