A Lovely, Quiet Break!
This is a lovely property in a beautiful and peaceful area, with plenty of space for our kids to play. It is a good base for a number of activities around the south coast, we visited Knockhatch Adventure Park, Worthing Beach and the Clip N Climb at Tonbridge with relative ease though you do need a vehicle to get to most places. Diane is a friendly host who replies quickly to any questions or issues, very grateful to her for letting us use the tennis court at short notice! Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful rural views and saw deer in the morning. House clean, cosy and comfortable. Kids loved the garden and local walks. Lovely extra touches like fresh flowers around the house. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Didn't venture out after dark as no street lights, feel maybe the front of the house could be tidied up as really overgrown, a 4 slice toaster would have been helpful when doing breakfast, overall nice and clean and warm, Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Remote and beautiful
This cottage was remote, but that's what we loved! It was so quiet and peaceful, we all took plenty of food. Had the local fish and chips which was lovely (a short drive away). The pool was cold but fun for the children, the swing was used so much, right up until the last minute. Cottage was well equipped, clean and welcoming. Lovely fluffy towels and some kitchen supplies. Diane was friendly and helpful and we love it. A group of 6 adults and 2 children worked just right in this cottage. Enjoy your stay!

We had a wonderful break at Dill Cottage.
We had a wonderful break at Dill Cottage. Diane, the owner, was ready to help and asked after our comfort but we didn't need anything. The cottage was extremely comfortable, private and well equipped. I did use the pool but it was a bit too bracing for me and a ladder would be a good addition. We returned from our break thoroughly refreshed having slept like tops. Many thanks 😊

We chose Dill Hundred due to its proximity to our youngest daughter’s wedding venue.
We chose Dill Hundred due to its proximity to our youngest daughter’s wedding venue. Family members all had to make long journeys to attend the wedding so a large house with parking for several cars where we could spend a week and ‘recover’ before our return journeys was ideal. The house was very well equipped and spacious and due to its layout suited several generations. The owner was very welcoming, thank you, and we all enjoyed our stay at the property. It’s a very countrified location with lots of interesting wildlife but also not very far from shops, pubs and the many attractions of Sussex. One or two minor grumbles - the kitchen knives weren’t sharp enough and we couldn’t find a knife sharpener - also two showers weren’t really enough for eight adults so a shower in the downstairs bathroom would be ideal. Otherwise a great property.

We had a lovely time at Dill hundred, even though the weather was dreadful for two of our three days
We had a lovely time at Dill hundred, even though the weather was dreadful for two of our three days, the cottage is on a working farm, so we had to keep a very keen eye on the dog as there were sheep with lambs, but no problems. The dog wasn’t allowed in any room that was carpeted, so we stayed in the kitchen dining room most of the time. Any issues we had, Diane dealt with very promptly.
