The space
Located on the Denali National Park boundary, our modern Log Cabin is the ultimate Alaskan Experience.
You will be staying in the perfect location, a short 15-minute drive to Denali's only Entrance Rd. and less than 1-mile from The Parks Highway and the Town of Healy which has a full-service grocery/liquor store, bars and restaurants and all area activities.
All Denali Area activities are close by. You can walk to ATV and Fat Truck Tours and the golf course right from the cabin.
Healy is where you want to be, away from the congestion of glitter gulch and all the cruise ship hotels.
We are the last house in our tiny subdivision and our backyard is millions of acres of wilderness with spectacular mountain views and unlimited hiking opportunities. From our house it's a short walk to Otto Lake, Black Diamond Resort (Golf and Dining) and Denali ATV.
Our cabin gives you the feel of being secluded inside the National Park, yet you have all the creature comforts of modern living.
We offer a well-stocked full kitchen, High Speed WIFI, Direct TV, ATT 4G and a private deck with a BBQ (propane provided).

Denali Cabin
My husband and I stayed in the cabin for a week and it was perfect for the two of us. The views were fantastic, the cabin was very clean, the bed comfortable, and directions and access to the cabin very precise.

Great Cabin for Family
The cabin was super clean and provided a great spot for our family of four to stay with easy access to both Healy and Denali. Dave was very accessible by phone. The property listing was very accurate!

Great view
This was a great location and nice little cabin to use as a base for visiting Denali. It was cozy and has all the amenities we needed including washer and dryer! The only down side was the road leading to the cabin as it is full of giant pot holes.

20th Anniversary Trip
We stayed two nights here as we traveled from Anchorage to Denali. Wonderful views of the mountains and close to the park without the crowds. The stairs to the kitchen, living area could be an issue for some. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Comfortable cabin near denali
We really enjoyed our stay at this property! As we got close, we were a little concerned about the properties near the road, but were delighted with our "off the beaten path" place to stay. The king bedroom and bathroom are on the main floor and the kitchen/dining/living area was upstairs in the European style. The views from the upstairs were incredible with a full moon! Nice kitchen too!

Cute cabin close to the park with an awesome view
My husband and I loved staying at this cabin. It is only about 10 minutes away from Denali’s park entrance and has a really great view from the second floor. It was nice and peaceful location in comparison to where the hotels, shops and restaurants are. Dave was an excellent host and was just a phone call away if we needed anything. I would highly recommend staying at this cabin if you are planning on visiting Denali National Park.

Good Location
Four adults stayed in this cabin - was a little snug. Great location to Denali National Park, we had road construction so was hard to tell how long it took to get to our destinations. Very secluded. Was nice having a place to cook our meals and not have to eat out.

Great little cabin in the mountains
We enjoyed staying here for 5 days while visiting Denali. It's about 10 miles from the park entrance. Dave has this very accurately described on the listing so no surprises. You have great mountain views from the upstairs. We would recommend for a couple looking to experience Denali.

Peace away from the tour buses
My husband and I stayed at this cabin for 3 nights and loved it. It was very close to the entrance to the park, close to a wonderful microbrew and restaurant and had a wonderful view from the top window. The cabin was ready when we arrived and very clean. Also David made very sure I had the information I needed to get there and get in as well as a number to call anytime should I have any issues.

Great location for Denali visit
Can’t beat the location to visit Denali -10 minute drive. More cabin than house but did have washer/dryer. Bedroom not enclosed so a little tight with 2 of us and 2 teens. Could use a mirror outside bathroom to give other spaces to get ready. Gorgeous view!

Awesome Cabin
Just as advertised. Super quiet and awesome views. It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere yet it was a 10 minute drive to the park. It's a 15 minute walk to the Black Diamond Restaurant. Lots of good hiking west of the cabin. Best VRBO we stayed at in Alaska. We never saw Dave the owner but he was quick to answer our texts and gave great suggestions. Highly recommend.

Beautiful cabin in a serene setting. Close to Denali but secluded
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was located away from the crowds at Denali which made it great. The cabin was nicely equipped and comfortable. Dining out is limited so we took food and cooked on the grill. The laundry is located on 2 separate sheds so make sure you look for both. Remember to follow the directions provided. I was a little tricky.

The View
This place is charming. The view of the snow capped mountains is amazing. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was so much nicer to have a home to stay in compared to staying in a hotel. We used the oven to make cookies and stove for pancakes, the grill to cook chicken outside. Denali resorts, restaurants, and park entrance are close. We kayaked at the lake down the street and saw a moose with her baby. One of my favorite memories. No bears seen ever. Used the laundry facilities down the street at the resort, honor system.

Clean, cozy cabin near Denali National Park
Clean and comfortable base from which to explore Denali National Park and surrounding areas. Cabin has all modern amenities, with gorgeous views of mountains. Feels private and safe even though it shares a driveway with a bigger house and is located in a relatively busy area with properties / activities all around. I did not need to contact owners during my stay, as everything was provided and perfect in the cabin, but communication during booking and check-out was great. Great directions provided once you book - definitely necessary to make sure you find it. Some construction work happening on adjacent lots, but we were mostly exploring during the day, and it wasn’t too loud in the evening. Bed was very comfortable, linens and towels clean and fresh, laundry in sheds outside cabin, grill and full kitchen made things easy. Would definitely recommend!

Property was isolated and quaint and was just what my family was looking for.
Nice property in an isolated beautiful area. Property included a propane grill (which we used extensively) and everything you need to make your own meals in the small kitchen. Make sure to buy all your groceries in either Wasilla or Anchorage if you intend to cook your own meals as there is very little in the way of grocery stores at this location. The few stores that are available are pricey with not much selection. When we were at this location our family hiked the many ATV trails that were around the outskirts of Denali and were all within walking distance of the cabin. We picked 1/2 gallon of bog blueberries which we used to make pancakes and snack on. If we were to go to Denali again we would definitely stay at this place again.

Great home with beautiful mountain views
Our family group of 12 people including two small children rented this home as well as the larger one next door for three nights. This home is set back a bit from the other house giving it a bit of privacy. The interior was well maintained and well stocked (my MIL thought both houses were new so the renovation on both is very nice). The bedroom was located on the first floor with a deck outside of the entrance with a grill. The living room and kitchen were located upstairs with a sleeper sofa. We hiked around the area of the home as well as down to the Black Diamond Resort for a horse drawn wagon tour. The entrance to Denali NP is about 10 minutes away so it was easy for us to head over each morning to hike. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We loved our stay in such a beautiful area. Cozy and modest
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Dave's cabin. It was 10 minutes to the park's entrance and all of the dining and shopping nearby. The cabin is very clean, but modest. I only wish there were blackout curtains because the summer sun coming through the blinds kept us awake. The gravel road was a bit sketchy also. The driveway was in decent shape, but the short rocky road to the driveway was rougher than we expected. Definitely take your time if you're driving a small car like we were. We also hoped the cabin was more secluded. The larger house on the same property was pretty close, and we could hear the road and ATV's nearby even late at night. Overall, the cabin was nice and cozy. Check-in was simple and communication with Dave was very easy. We are glad we chose to stay at the cabin.

Nice view, comfortable cottage
The cottage was comfortable, and the view very nice. The kitchen was well stocked, the best of the 3 places we stayed at while in Alaska. The memory foam pad for the pull out was a great addition. While at the cottage, we spent most of our time upstairs, enjoying the view. The gravel driveway was a bit rough, and the location is remote. We did not see any paths to hike, nor did we see any wildlife. The cottage was a bit chilly for us upon arrival, so we ran the heater, but there was an unpleasant odor, so we turned it off. honestly, we did not need it. The cottage was clean and when we contacted David with questions he was very responsive. There were 5 people in our group, and it was a bit cramped, but we made the best of it. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us.

A hidden gem!
The Denali lake cabin is a hidden gem near Denali. David was wonderful from booking to check out. We had no problems at all! The cabin is tucked back out of the way- but David’s directions are spot on. The cabin is spacious, the bed very comfortable, linens and towels very good quality. If you wanted to cook, there’s a full kitchen and the basics, salt, pepper, oil etc are there. Highly recommend. Would stay here again.
