This ground floor apartment checks all the boxes; 5-star living on the National Park Boundary, amazing views from your private deck w/propane BBQ, well stocked kitchen, Washer & Dryer, High Speed WIFI, Direct TV, and a Strong 4G Cell Service.
Our home is a short 11-mile Drive to Denali National Parks only entrance road.
This apartment is 100% newly furnished and outfitted. Both bedrooms have a pillow-top king bed and their own private bathroom. The kitchen is well-stocked with a dishwasher. The dining area is in the enclosed Sun Room which is connected to your private deck with patio furniture and propane BBQ. The Sun Room has lots of windows and spectacular views of the Alaska Range. The door to the Sun Room can be closed so as to not disturb people resting in the bedrooms.
Our house is located at the end of the road in a very quiet tiny subdivision and sits on a 2-acre bluff with amazing views. You will feel like you are living in the middle of nowhere yet you will have all the amenities of a modern home.
We regularly spot wildlife in our front and back yards. Our home is located in the "Healy" area 10-miles North of the Denali Park Entrance and it is where you want to stay; best park views, away from the congestion of the park entrance area (glitter gulch).
Our home is near everything; a 1-minute drive to the grocery/liquor store, 5-minute walk to Roses Cafe or a 15-minute walk to the Totem Bar.
Most area activities are located within minutes of the house; flight seeing, rafting, horseback riding, guided hiking, rafting, golf, biking, ATV, Zip lining and more.
For larger groups there are 2-private suites attached to our home. Each of the Luxury Suites are completely private from the main house and each other. Each Suite has their own entrances, living areas, kitchens, decks and washers and dryers.
My family and I are world travelers and always stay in an AirBnB. We understand you have high expectations for your Alaskan Adventure and we strive to exceed those expectations. We pay attention to all the important details; super clean, well stocked, owners answer the phone/texts immediately and everything works.
We have lived in Denali for over 25 years and love the area. We want our home to be an important part of your Denali experience and we are always close by to answer any questions, make suggestions or to solve any issues. Please feel free to contact us for advice, we have lots of area knowledge.
We always respect our guests privacy. 30 days prior to your arrival we will email you detailed directions and key code for entry. You can check yourselves in anytime after 4pm. WIFI code is on the bulletin board near the front door.
Also on the bulletin board in the home we provide a list and brochures of all our favorite things to do and places to eat in the area.
We recommend you book your Denali National Park Shuttle or Tour Bus before you arrive, but all other area activities can booked once you have arrived so you can gauge the weather and get a feel of what your group wants to do.
Please remember our house is right on the park boundary and a day spent enjoying the views and hiking out of the house can be extremely rewarding.
We strive to be the best vacation rental operators in the area and if you stay with us you will appreciate our attention to detail. We understand you are on vacation and want to provide you with an amazing experience with nothing to worry about.

We enjoyed our stay in Healy for multiple visits in to Denali and a day trip to Fairbanks! The bedroom/bathroom arrangement was ideal as we were 2 couples traveling together! Very comfortable and it has everything we needed!

Perfect stay near Denali
We had a fantastic stay in this cute cabin in a perfectly serene area. The host was gracious and easy to work with- thanks again! We were close to Denali National Park, a grocery store, gas stations, and miles upon miles of gorgeous nature! We even saw the North Lights from the property’s balcony!!! Definitely recommend.

Great location
It is a bit out in the country, so great if you want to see the Northern Lights! The grocery store is one mile away, and Denali Park is about 10 miles away. I highly recommend this property!!

This was a great place for us to have as basecamp for the Denali leg of our Alaskan Adventure. We loved the view out the back window. Hot showers, cozy beds, and a place to relax and even wash a load of laundry. This place was perfect for the 3 of us! Thanks so much!

Close to Denali
Only 10 miles to the entrance to Denali. This place is clean, spacious and comfortable. It also has amazing views of the mountains. The kitchen is well equipped, we ate in 4 nights out of 5. The washer and dryer is a plus. Beautiful decor throughout. Dave is a great host. He has thought of everything, and he communicates well. This was our 2nd time staying here. We are looking forward to our 3rd in 2025

Overall good experience. Place is very clean with good amenities. Kitchen and bathrooms are very well stocked. Process to reserve, check-in and check-out all very smooth. Only things preventing a 5-star review: location is a little off the beaten path, and layout of the unit is a little odd with steps up to bathrooms and den area.

Property was just a bit quirky but amazing. Host answered any questions we had and the place was immaculate. Location was perfect for access to Denali without being in the big cruise hotels. Fairbanks would have been an accessible day trip if that would have been on our agenda.

Gorgeous views & Just the Right Size
Loved the views - even in the rain. Clean, well stocked, perfect layout for 3 adults (two bathrooms!), great communication with owner. Laundry room is shared with the other two units and use is limited to certain hours but easy to work around. Hardly could hear others in 2nd floor units. Would not feel safe walking in neighborhood but the property was conveniently located to 49th State Brewery and Denali NP. Would stay here again!

4 nights near Denali
This is a beautiful property! Very peaceful. We are a family of 4, traveling with 2 adult children (25 & 22 years old). Very comfortable place to rest after our day trips into Denali. The washer dryer set up is amazing. It’s exactly as seen in the pictures. Very easy check in. We would absolutely stay there again.

Perfect spot
We loved this setup. The rooms were thoughtfully spread so the 2 bedroom setup felt very private. We had no issues with noise from neighbors. Parking was great. We ended every evening at the great bar a block away, 49th state…. They had an incredible beer selection and outdoor fire setup. Don’t hesitate to book this for your trip to Denali.

This property has great views and is very private. Great location for all those outdoor activities, close to Denali. This property allows you to really get away from it all, very quiet, in the forest setting. It does have steps going into each bathroom so keep that in mind when booking. The property has great laundry area and the kitchen and bathrooms were equipped with everything you might need. Looking to get away from it all this is the place. There is a unit next door but you never hear a sound.

Denali Vacation
This house was perfect for our party of two couples, there are two masters with full private baths in each and king size very comfortable beds. We had some people in the upstairs unit but never heard them only saw them while leaving. The three washer/dryer units are really nice. My only negative which didn’t effect us but would for people with young children, is that there isn’t any yard at all for walking or playing. It is not mowed in fact the weeds are growing right up to the deck and coming up through it in places. I would absolutely stay here again if visiting the area and highly recommend it!

The Denali dream location
Checkin at Stoney Place was extremely easy. The home is located right outside Denali National Park in Healy, AK. It was a comfortable stay with all amenities needed. The two bedrooms had their own private restrooms and came fully stocked with blankets and towels as well. We didnt use the washer and dryers but they were there if we needed. The home was extremely clean and comfortable. There was great wifi, television and a fully stocked kitchen as well. It was also a great location to see the aurora borealis. It is surrounded by beautiful forestry and has everything you need for a dream stay. Its close to the grocery store, gas station and main roadway. I did message the host one night because a smoke/heat detector wouldnt stop beeping and going off and didnt receive a response. So that was my only complaint. Otherwise this is a 5 star location, vrbo. We will definitely return again.

The best
To start, I am hesitant to write this review. This place is so perfect I want to come back and want to be able to book it! It was so clean and well thought out. It is new so everything is comfortable. The beds were comfy, and I am a bed snob with a bad back and neck. Good amount of spices and dishes. We stayed with our son and daughter in law and it was private and very comfortable. The wine opener broke the first night and the owners rushed over a new one, {priority}. We felt like they were very attentive. Our first morning there was a moose a few feet away from the back door {score ]. It’s about 15-20 away from Denali. We cooked and loved the BBQ. It appears to have a few restaurants nearby. We didn’t need to try them. The laundry was a nice bonus! It felt very well thought out! I would recommend this place. We loved it.

Great for visiting Denali
Found the listing information and previous reviews to be accurate. Step ups to bathrooms and living area require extra caution for a traveling group of seniors. The only thing I would add is don’t miss the Fat Truck tour in Healy. Probably the highlight of our three week trip.

Wonderful Stay
We really loved this property. Was perfect for 2 couples. We stayed late September and all the resteraunts had already closed for the season. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals. Weather was great 2 days with sunshine, the rest of the week was dreary. Temps in the 30's-40's. Unfortunately we did not see the northern lights We would certainly stay again.
