"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property, overall it was a very positive experience with attentive, considerate staff and services. It is in a great area to travel to Windermere, Ambleside or really anywhere else in the Lake District. The only slight let down was the spa; you have to pay extra for spa access even after paying for a treatment. Additionally the details around access times & costs varied depending on which staff you spoke to."

"Nice room/ excellent shower. Good internet on phone and I- pad though tricky laptop. Nice breakfast . Only problem was when booking through 3rd party can’t use pool unless £15/person for 48 hour pass . Not much point when only there for 12 hours .No flexibility on this . Shame as left a bad taste to an otherwise good experience "

"Great hotel, great location and lovely staff. Very welcoming and friendly. Bus 591, 555 stops just outside the hotel and can take you anywhere whether it’s Windermere, Grasmere, Keswick all very easy to commute. Some great restaurants around. Staff extremely friendly at the reception. Breakfast top notch - 10/10 for Manuel who takes orders at the brekkie area , always smiling. Would highly recommend. "
