The Space:
This spacious, modern family home is perfectly located to explore the best of West Cornwall. Not only do you have the stunning coastline of Hayle and Gwithian on the doorstep, but you are also just a stone's throw from St Ives. Inside, the space is kitted out with all the modern comforts that make it feel like a home. The sociable open-plan layout leads from the living room into the dining area, where there is a large farmhouse table for family meals. Next door, the well-sized kitchen has everything you could need to cook up a feast: find a gas hob, oven, washing machine and dishwasher.
Upstairs, there are 3 spacious bedrooms that occupy 5 guests. The master boasts a king-size bed, a walk-in wardrobe and idyllic views of the countryside. The other two bedrooms have a single bed and bunk bed (top bunk for children only), as well as ample storage for clothes and luggage. The bedrooms share a large family bathroom with a separate shower and bath - heaven after long days on the beach!
In warmer months, you'll love spending time outside in the secure garden. Four-legged friends can run around until their heart's content, and there's a BBQ for those long summer nights. There is even an outdoor shower for washing off furry friends and sandy kids! With ample private parking on the driveway, this is a brilliant house that'll make for an easy-going family holiday.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire property.
The Neighborhood:
Hayle is in the perfect spot to explore the best of West Cornwall. You will find a handful of decent pubs and restaurants in the town itself, whilst just over a mile away is Hayle Beach with its soft white sand and great swimming conditions. The iconic town of St Ives is just a short drive away, and we'd recommend visiting for its wonderful selection of independent shops, restaurants and the famous Tate gallery. If you'd rather not take the car, you can hop on a short train from Hayle station to St Ives and Carbis Bay. The latter is best known for its restaurant that overlooks the water as well as its large (and often quieter) beach. The closest beach to the property is Gwithian, just a 15-minute walk through the Nature Reserve. Here, you will find over 3 miles of stunning, uninterrupted golden sands and great surf all year round. You can also experience some of the best sunsets in all of Cornwall here, as the sun sets right over the water.
Walkers have ample countryside to roam and explore. The South West Coastal Path runs all the way from Gwithian to Godrevy Point - providing a long walk with stunning views. The path that runs from St Ives to Zennor is another beauty and perfect if you want to spend all day out in the fresh air!
Getting Around:
The house comes with private off-road parking spaces for 2 medium sized cars. Being located just off the A30, Hayle is also well connected with public transport with regular bus and train services to Truro, Penzance and St Ives.
