This is our fourth or fifth stay and it just gets better each time. It’s comfortable and the hosts are friendly. Lots to do locally and a beautiful atmosphere.

Weekend Getaway!!

A relaxing and fun trip
We enjoyed our stay at the vacation rental with Debbie and Doug. The house was small but with the great view, cozy and had all the essential stuff for our stay. Our three year old also liked it. We will definitely try to return here again.

Short drive to lake
Great Memorial Day weekend with family and our furry companion. Close to Chatuge Lake. Easy to find. Beautiful view of starry night sky on large open deck. The fireflies put on an awesome light show at night this time of year, as well. Owners are very responsive and made it very easy to check in.

Slice of Paradise!
We had an absolute blast! So close to so many towns. Place was clean, comfortable bed, very spacious and Doug and Debbie were a delight! Felt like home. The views were beautiful and so peaceful. Hope to come back soon!

Mountain getaway
First time staying in the Hiawassee/Hayesville area and we will be back for sure. We really enjoyed everything about our stay here, Doug and Debbie are fantastic hosts. The house has beautiful views and was so comfortable, I felt at home as soon we walked in. We cooked many meals and always had everything we needed. We look forward to going back as soon as possible.

What a great place!
This roomy one bedroom apartment was modern, well appointed, and super convenient. Views of the mountains were serene and helped make all the stress just melt away. Debbie and Doug, our hosts, were just down-right nice people. Thanks for letting us stay in your "little house". Hope we can come back.

The place was very nice and in a convienant location. We really enjoyed staying there.
I think we will consider staying there again. We enjoyed meeting Debbie and Doug was very prompt when we needed him to open the patio door after we used the wrong lock. I enjoyed the entertainment equipment including some CD's that were available. The area was fun with boating, hiking, tennis and pickle ball. We also enjoyed the music at the town squares.

Great week in Hayesville
Nice and clean, easy access, very responsive hosts, all furnishing were clean and functional. Some room for the dog to do it's thing. We would stay here again. For the hosts... needs more in the line of pots and pans. For guests... Not mentioned in the VRBO ad is the rental is next to the owners, go out on the deck and to the left is the view in the pictures, to the right is the front of the owners home.

Beautiful sunrises and sunsets!
Very pleasant, roomy garage apartment! Attentive friendly owners who live close by. A couple will enjoy this attractive place. Room to walk the dog, but no fence and not a lot of level ground. Quiet with lots of beautiful views off the nice deck too. All you need in the house - great TV and internet; full kitchen; spacious rooms. Close to NC's Hayesville, Murphy, Brasstown, Franklin and Hiawassee in GA.

Great vacation spot!
We were there 2 weeks part business, part vacation. Home perfect for a couple. We are familiar with the area so we knew where all the cool waterfalls were. Only suggestion I have is, it would be nice if there was an umbrella or some type of awning on the porch to provide shade. It was too hot to sit on the porch. We love the are so much, we bought a little place on the lake! Phyllis & Bernd
