There was room for our littles to move about on a cold windy day and they enjoyed all the puzzles and games that were age appropriate for them. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds as well and we were able to fit our pack in play in the master bedroom closet. "We rented this property based on its location to the area that we’ve been hunting white tailed deer for over 40 years and we a short commute to the woods. What we were pleasantly surprised by was how responsive our host was to any question or need we had. The house was clean and very comfortable, we all the essentials needed for cooking our meals."

"A well kept and well stocked cottage with beautiful views of Grand Lake. Friendly neighborhood on a tucked-away drive. The host communicated everything very well. Being halfway between Rogers City and Alpena, this remote spot has plenty within easy driving distance."

"I have one recommendation, my husband is in a wheelchair and the loose gravel made it difficult. I would pour concrete and remove the gravel also pour a sidewalk to the fire pit. Also, bees are under the rafters on the porch. "

"No issues, private and quiet. Inside and out was like new, host has done an excellent job providing a nice property to rent. We ran to the Chateau, The Duck and Mulligans for food and the Brewery for a beer on the rooftop and breakfast at the cabin. Bought firewood down from the Chateau and enjoyed a fire each night. "We had three middle-aged siblings, their spouses, and mostly young adult children/cousins (17-26, one 13 year old), totaling 11. The house is beautiful, large fully equipped kitchen with many nice-to-haves in addition to the basics like insulated coffee carafe, muffin tin, etc, and a second fridge in the entry way! Beds were comfortable, rooms were a little tight for the number of young adults (they were all in the bunk beds/sofa bed, probably would have been better for three or fewer couples...

"We stayed in the unit for two nights. Very clean place, quiet environment. We had very good night rest. This unit has stove and a normal size fridge. We were gone during the day - enjoying the beach, swimming in the lake. Hoeft State Park is 11 miles away. Ocqueoc falls is 10 miles away. Highly recommend!"
