"This is a wonderful place to stay. It is very clean. The beds are comfortable. There is great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The house is remarkably spacious and is decorated very tastefully. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. There is easy access to shopping and transportation nearby. "Stayed over at this property for a ladies retreat. It was a spacious place as described but unfortunately meant that it took forever to heat up and some rooms never got warm. Would avoid in the winter months unless you have a portable heater. The owner did bring us wood for the fire place so used that - very pretty and warm. The place could’ve been better cleaned in our opinion as there was clear evidence of prior occupants (empty alcohol bottles in drawers etc). I think this place would be...

"Accommodations were very basic. No essentials were provided, soap, shampoo, paper towels, tissues, salt, and pepper. It would be a big plus too have a couple more hooks and shelves in the bathroom to be able to place things. Another chair in the main living area would be helpful. Plan to bring everything with you. The gardens were beautiful and very relaxing. Overall worked for us."

"The location of the property was as expected with the furniture clean. The description did not mention parking or assistance with this so it was annoying to find out that you can park outside on the single yellow during certain times - neighbours park there though knowing it is a rental. Our biggest disappointment was the kitchen which was not fully equipped. No microwave, toaster, tea towels, oven dishes, frying pan, chopping board, standard utensils etc. We planned on having Christmas lunch...

"We are in our early 60’s and stayed for 4 nights at the end of May 2024. Great central location, out of the door and into the massive park, brilliant for dogs. This is a very old building, quaint inside, nicely updated to fit in well with the property’s age. Bedroom is big and comfy, loved the green leather seat looking out of the window. The bath / shower are a bit of an adventure, looks great but we could not live with it if we were living there all the time. Word of warning, 100% not suitable...
