Beautiful Converted Barn - close to Newgale Beach & Pembrokeshire Coast
Recently renovated to a very high standard Meadow Barn offers spacious family holiday accommodation. Conveniently situated in the village of Roch the cottage is one of three, set around a gravel yard adjacent to the owners property. The cottage benefits from off street parking for two cars and its own private garden with BBQ and picnic bench. Newgale Beach is just a mile and a half away and we are also ideally located for exploring the coastal scenery that Pembrokeshire has to offer.
Inside the cottage there is a large open plan sitting / dining room with vaulted ceiling and patio doors into a generous conservatory. The main double bedroom is on the ground floor and also benefits from patio doors to the garden and an en-suite WC. There is a small step up between the main living room and other rooms downstairs. Upstairs there is a bathroom with bath and electric shower and a twin bedroom suitable for adults or children.
This holiday cottage is very attractive inside, retaining many of its original features, including exposed stone walls, original beams and brick arches. At the same time it also benefits from modern amenities such as double glazing and oil central heating.
Meadow Barn is generously equipped with all that you need to make your stay comfortable, including dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer as well as FreeSat TV. We invest in good quality mattresses to make beds as comfortable as possible and use hotel quality, pure cotton sheets as well as providing additional wool blankets for each bed. The cottage is heated with oil central heating (included) and also has a feature electric fire in the main room. In combination with good insulation (and thick stone walls) our experience is that the cottage is comfortable and cosy even in the depths of Winter. Decorated with work from local artists and local photos.

Our second time staying our home from home. Brilliant quiet location beach and lovely coves nearby.
Everything you could need for a comfortable stay hopefully will be returning next year
We enjoyed our stay very much. Paul and Juliet converted this barn into a top class holiday home. Close to beaches and everything what Pembrokeshire is famous for. Go for the puffins on Skomer Island (between April and August).
A lovely cottage with everything you could need for a great stay - and the Welsh cakes on arrival were delicious!
It's perfect if you're looking for a base to explore the beautiful beaches and coastal walks nearby.
Will definitely return!
A very comfortable, well equipped and spacious property ideally placed for visiting the Pembrokeshire coast. The conservatory and sunny garden are very welcome features. Situated close to many superb beaches and an excellent choice of places to eat and drink this has been a very memorable holiday.
Lovely short break at Meadow Barn! We were kindly left traditional welsh treats on arrival. The barn was perfect. Lovely walks especially from St Davids back along the coast path. Thanks for a great stay!
Property was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Although the village of Roach has little to offer, the cottage was ideally situated for local beaches, the Pembroke Coastal Path and St Davids, all a short drive away.
Stunning!
A comfortable blend of ancient and contemporary accomodation, full facilities, outdoor and in. Newgale beach blissful - in whatever weather, although we were lucky with the sun.
Friendly host. Highly Recommended
Plenty of space for a family of 4.
The property was perfect, we didn’t want or need anything.
The welcome pack was excellent and the information book covered lots of information.
There was a lovely touch when we arrived with homemade cakes, including Welsh cakes.
A highly recommended place to stay
Everything you could need for a relaxing get away.
Warm and welcoming on a rainy day with a garden for sunny days.
Really well positioned about a mile away from the sea.
We loved visiting Solva, St David's, Fishguard and Newport
We stayed for 4 nights and were incredibly impressed.
We travel around the country a lot and have stayed in numerous places but this definitely ranks at the top of the list. (And it wasn't just the complimentary and very delicious cake on arrival!)
It was extremely spacious and comfortable. A very reasonable price (although it was November) and it is extremely well-equipped - everything you could possibly need except a food processor.
We would not hesitate to stay there again.
This is a charming cottage; well furnished, well-equipped and spacious for a family of 4. The garden is lovely, there is enough space to park the car. Wifi is good. We had good contact with the owners who also provide tenants with ample information about the cottage and its surroundings. The location is great, close to the coast and plenty of sights in Pembrokeshire. We really recommend this place and would certainly stay again.
We spent 1 week at Meadow Barn in Roch and had a great time there. The premises are cozy and offer enough space for a family. The kitchen is well equipped with everything for daily live. Roch itself doesn`t offer much for sightseeing but the magnificent coastline is only 3 minutes by car. The owners of the property are very kind and just around the corner if anything has to be clarified.

Cracking little holiday home!
This is a very well equipped and comfy holiday let with it's own secluded sun trap garden. It's ideally situated to explore both up and down the Pembrokeshire coast with lots of lovely stunning coastal walks. Friendly helpful hosts providing a very welcome tea on arrival!
It's excellent value for money and we would highly recommend. All you could need ...oh and they take doggies too :) perfect!
We had an absolutely lovely week at Meadow Barn. The Pembrokeshire Coast is beautiful and we spent everyday enjoying different surrounding beaches. Juliet and Paul were very welcoming, they gave us great tips, good communication beforehand and even lent our boys some body boards to use for the week. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely return again, thank you!
Very good poperty nice and private, good location. Very comfortable and well equipped.
Excellent, would highly recommend. However, one small comment - they have a very nice conservatory which unfortunately has many windows that have 'blown' so that you are looking out through a mist. It would be nice to have a clear view.
The property was exactly as the pictures showed.
It was extremely comfortable and cosy, sofas and bed very comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped.
The Welsh cakes and bara brith were lovely unexpected treats upon arrival.
The location was beautifully quiet, and well placed to explore Pembrokeshire. The owners were close by if they were needed, but not in any way intrusive.
I would highly recommend the property for anyone wanting to relax to recharge the batteries.

4 night stay
Good location , amenities local. The main thing is the bed mattresses they need new ones as very uncomfortable which was a shame. Could do with a little redecoration and a full deep clean . Wi fi was poor signal also and only 2 channels on main tv . But had a nice stay

A lovely property just minutes drive away from the beautiful Newgale beach!
A wonderful long-weekend spent here with my family of four. Meadow Barn was perfect for us and had absolutely everything we could possibly need to cater for ourselves. Plenty of space, whilst cosy and warm; good WiFi, satellite tv and a whole chest of games which the children loved; comfortable beds and well-furnished bedrooms; lovely conservatory, outside bbq area and private garden. Paul and Juliet are great hosts and quickly respond to any queries or needs. All this in a great location for exploring the length and breadth of the Pembrokeshire National Park! Would recommend and shall return, for sure.
