"This house is a perfect lake house with a beautiful view. The house was well stocked and quaint. The outdoor chairs had some dry rot and were torn, but we had extra chairs with us. The dock is spectacular and the fire pit was great at night. We brought firewood but they had plenty, as well. We were there for a Virginia Tech football game and it was about 45 minutes there, but nice to have a place to unwind afterwards. The road to the house is a little treacherous and hard to understand. ...

"We loved our long weekend here! The owners were very friendly and responsive. The property has everything you need and more. The biggest plus is its coziness. Between the open room and the great porch with pretty views of the lake, I finished a whole book. Kind of don't want to leave too good of a review because I want to keep it a secret! We WILL be back! (Note: as others have said, the cabin is not good for people who cannot do stairs)"

"The property was roomy, very clean, and well-appointed. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook. Plus there is a grill outside. Outside, you have three decks to lounge on and gaze at the beautiful view of the lake. We saw deer and made a fire near the floating dock. The weekend was relaxing and a way to reconnect with family. Lake access is accurate - this lake and most residents have many stairs and this one was no exception but owner described this so no surprises there.
