"This is a lovely cottage, beautiful views, great area. I do however have some things I wasn't happy with, mostly the beds. The beds were not comfortable, most of us did not sleep well. That to me is the whole point of renting a place to stay, is to sleep, if the beds aren't comfortable, I won't be coming back. Also, the place wasn't very clean. Every kitchen drawer and cupboard I opened definitely needed cleaning. The amount of dead bugs in the light fixtures was just gross to be honest. The floors were clean, bathrooms, table tops etc., but not everything was clean. Also, to ask to supply your own toilet paper is a little much."

"We absolutely LOVED our stay at this warm, inviting, and cozy cottage. It’s adorned with extremely comfy furniture, the bedrooms received “great sleep” reviews from each of our guests, and the canoes led to a thoroughly delightful adventure. We chose the month of November for our trip, which isn’t known as the cottaging season, but don’t sleep on it! These months are flawless; there’s way less boat and people traffic, and they keep the property very clean. The kitchen appliances, from coffee maker to stove top, are modern and very convenient. This is a lovely cottage! We did a silly thing where each person made a PowerPoint explaining what we do for a living (since friends rarely know what each other REALLY do, day-to-day). The AppleTV in the living room made this setup a breeze, it was flawlessly executed and we had a ton of fun together. All in all, we’d absolutely be back here. The hot tub was a dream after making a quick sprint into the lake! We’re grateful to have been welcomed here, it’s a lovely cottage and a great place to make memories."

"The 5 Acre Woods property was exactly as described and more. The property is very private due to the large lot and the many trees. Exactly what we were looking for. I loved that we could enjoy a wood fire both inside in the wood stove and outside in the fire pit. The inside has been updated and is very comfortable for a cooler rainy day if you don’t want to venture outside. But the outside is where the property really shines. Two decks and two balconies allow for everyone to get a great view of lakefront or woods. The first evening we were greeted by a flock of wild turkeys. And they visited us several times during our stay. We also saw turkey vultures and many chipmunks and squirrels. Walking through the woods was my favourite part. The terrain is so interesting. Mossy rocks and boulders and such a variety of trees and marshy areas too. And at night the lake is just gorgeous with the stars reflected in it like a mirror. Chandra was very quick to respond to any questions we had before and during our trip. And there were many thoughtful touches that made the trip enjoyable from all the small appliances available in the kitchen to the soap/shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom. Games and puzzles too. Also providing info on side trips like Petroglyphs Provincial Park which we also enjoyed. We had a great time a look forward to a repeat visit in the future. "
