The main thing I appreciated about this property was the friendliness and attentiveness of the owners. On top of that, the married couple that own the property both speak very good English.
In addition, the husband (sorry, can't remember his name) owns a car (rare in Cuba!) and can drive you somewhere if you need that.
The facility is centrally located in Old Havana and the cost of staying there is very reasonable (read...very cheap!).
The one drawback for me as a senior was all the stairs I had to climb to get up to the property.
For any traveller who's never been to Cuba the neighbourhood will appear to be a slum. Yes, Cuba is poor but it's also very safe. The poverty of Cuba should not deter you from visiting.
Casa La Muralla 358 gives adventurous tourists a chance to see, and briefly experience, the "real Cuba".
Despite those stairs, I give this property two enthusiastic thumbs up.
