Chalet Cama is located in Hauteluce, a particularly charming and friendly village that offers countless activities in both the summer and winter.
Information for the winter:
The chalet is located at the foot of the ski slopes at an elevation of 1150 metres. You will not have to take your car to go skiing (there are five parking spaces in front of the chalet). From Hauteluce, you can reach the ski resort Les Saisies, which sits on a breathtaking mountain pass (Espace Diamant offers 185 km of slopes). You can ski on different runs every day and almost reach Megève — it's amazing! The slopes are in excellent condition and are very well maintained. To see the snow conditions, take a look at the webcam showing Mont Bisanne (1950 metres high) or the one showing Hauteluce Chozal (1150 metres high and only 30 metres from the chalet) on the Les Saisies website. A free shuttle is also available at Les Saisies to transport those who don't ski. You can purchase ski passes 30 metres from the chalet, and you can rent ski equipment nearby as well. Les Saisies runs ski schools that are located about 15 minutes from the chalet by ski or by shuttle (for more information on these lessons, visit the Les Saisies website).
If you want to change the rhythm of your stay slightly, you can also ski at the Les Contamines resort (15 minutes away by shuttle or by car).
Information for the summer: you will find an incredible view of Mont Blanc, numerous hamlets and their respective chapels, and mountain pasture chalets. The valley of Hauteluce is one of the most beautiful and untouched parts in the Alps. This extremely calm and natural setting is full of charm and warmth. You can find all the activities Hauteluce has to offer on its website.
