That was the nastiest place I’ve ever tried to stay. I blame myself for trying to be cheap! I didn’t stay, I ended up at the Hilton around the corner. If you don’t have standards, this is the place for you! That location is prime property. They should sell it to a proper hotel chain!
Our room was filthy, the carpet was dirty, the bedsheets were stained with multiple cigarette burns, the smoke alarm was torn off the ceiling. We only had one bath towel, but it didn't matter because we weren't going to shower in the dirt tub.
The first room I was given had bed sheets that look like a prostitute had used that room for weeks without changing anything! The second room was better but it was old and run down and still very dirty. I was so tired and it was raining so hard I dealt with it but I will never go back!
I've traveled all around the world including all through Central & South America, Mexico, and Asia. The two worst hotels I've ever been to where one in clewiston Florida and this one! It's nasty... Just saying

Better than the red roof inn in Petal
I was third in line checking in. The guys at the desk spoke Indian to one about in between guests. Went to my room to check it out before I left for dinner. Had to turn on the AC which worked. Just took a glimpse at everything. Didn’t really notice anything. Went to leave and the door wouldn’t lock. Closed the door and waited 30 sec and I could still open the door without the card. Didn’t leave anything in the room and went to dinner. Came back and took a video. I could still open the door without using the card! At least the locks on the door worked which was tight to turn. Went to use the bathroom and there was fecal residue on the toilet seat. I took pictures and then used their rag with hot water and wiped it off. The sink faucet was loose. I’m surprised the sheets and towels “looked” clean. The tv only stayed on one channel. I could turn it on and off but no guide or switching of the channels. The phone was filthy as well as the microwave door. And it looks like they have been patching the ceiling. There was also a black spot on a pillow case. I’ve been in worse hotels before.
