"We stayed in the cabins and they were perfect! Pet friendly campground, communication from staff was great. "

"The house was absolutely perfect. It had everything that you need. The house is in a residential part of Hatteras island that’s not too built up, away from the main drag. The peace and quiet was wonderful – with stunning starry night skies to boot. We used the kayak for outings around the salt marshes. There is a tug boat moored right outside of the house, which leaves very early in the morning, and that can be noisy. But it all adds to the charm. We’d come again in a heartbeat."

The house was beautiful and the perfect location to the beach. Clean hot tub and clean grill with a full tank of propane and everything you need was right there! Couldn’t have asked for a better host and location! His prices are MORE than fair!! We will surely be booking again in the future! "

"This is the perfect space for a small family or couples in Hatteras. Host are attentive, responsive and helpful! Bathroom is spacious! Rooms are a little small, but we weren’t in them much, so again, perfect! We loved the two porches and having the outdoor hose made returning from the beach a breeze. We loved the location & will return!"

"Arrived after going across tiny bridge and sharp turning around trees with my truck went in tired after 7 hour drive to find floors sloping in every room with my elderly mother she felt as if she had vertigo and after a day felt sick to her stomach the smell in there was like old wet dog we had to go get air fresheners dog hair on floors much smaller than I thought not one door close inside and cable went out in the am called office kept saying on her way took all afternoon said it was fix was not then said called spectrum he came out tighten stuff replaced something down in the laundry room cable still not working and laundry room underneath house had to climb ladder to do laundry mattresses we’re about 10 years old or more topper was old did not sleep well all week left early to go home and rest doors creaked loudly this place is a joke view was nice watching construction crew only thing good was shower pressure in bathrooms and no direction on check out in envelopes like it said on fridge called was told droplets in box which we did left at 530am friday"
