The Neighborhood:
Located nearby are St Albans City Centre and Hatfield is less than 5 minute walking distance is the University of Hertfordshire and Hatfield aerodrome heritage trail, home to the WWII Mosquito fighter bomber, which now provides tranquil nature walks with lakes and deer in the woodlands and La Galleria shopping centre with numerous, shops, restaurants and cinema.

Within a few minutes from the house, there is also a lovely rustic rural pub for dining, Italian Kitchen and a farmers shop where you can get fresh produce and great coffee.

The historic city of St. Albans provides excellent shopping and recreational facilities together with a twice weekly market and has two mainline station serving St Pancras International and Watford.

St. Albans and its surrounding offer countless opportunities for leisure and recreation including the imposing cathedral, museums, coffee shops in old court rooms, quirky shops, golf courses and riding schools.

Getting Around:
The area has excellent transportation links, literally 10 minutes drive from either the A1/M25. The St. Albans City train station is also a 10- 15 minute drive away and provides a fast access service to London, to the central St Pancras International. Central London is literally only a 20 minute train ride. There is a direct train service to Gatwick airport from the same train station. Hatfield train station is also within 10 minutes drive from the house.
