Our hosts have created a lovely spot with everything one could want to have a comfortable stay. The kitchen was stocked with the tools to make a perfect dinner, the outdoor patio featured a firepit for cool weather gatherings, and the entire apartment was spotless. Loved it.

Beautiful location - Comfortable and clean accommodations!!!
Right on the Mammoth Creek this property is the fully furnished walkout basement of the modern cabin home. The cleanest and best furnished cabin experience you will find for the money. Quiet community with lots of wildlife and calming sounds of the Mammoth Creek as a backdrop. Several outdoor seating, eating, and relaxing areas. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable home
The house is very nice and was fine for our group of four. With one bathroom, I think it could be more difficult for a larger group that wasn't all family. We were there in October so the lack of air conditioning was no problem. My biggest concern was with contacting the owners who only returned my calls very shortly before we arrived in Hatch and after I had called VRBO customer assistance. In fact, one of the owners did not return my call until more than a week after we had left.

Cozy Cabin Feel
Our youngest summarized our stay here quote well. He called it "our other home". We chose to stay here due to it's location to Bryce Canyon and we weren't disappointed. There was plenty of room in this 3 bedroom, very clean home. The kitchen was very well stocked, and we loved playing the board games provided. The beds were comfy and the perfect place to come home to after a day of hiking. We went to Zion, Bryce and Red Canyon. Thanks for creating such a great place to stay.

Perfect home base for exploring Bryce and Zion
Gordon and Miriam helped to make this family vacation one of our best trips. They were responsive and offered great suggestions for where to go. Our family loves to hike and this area offers breathtaking views . We spent time exploring Escalante, Bryce Canyon and Zion. This home is remote enough to offer a chance to get away from everyday stress, but located close enough to great hiking destinations. We will be recommending this property to friends and families who have been inspired by photos of our time spent there.

Great stay!
Thank you, Nelsons, for a great stay! We loved the property and enjoyed the fantastic location. All beds were clean and comfortable. Kitchen was equipped to cook and grill was also ready to go. Everything is new, inside and out. The fire pit is a really nice touch. We enjoyed the grill and fire pit for dinner on a chilly night. The owners were there when we needed them and were ghosts when we didn’t. We had a fantastic stay and would consider this property again in the future.

Great location
Communication at first was difficult once we got there because of lack of cell service, but once we arrived everything was settled! It was clean, comfy and convenient as we drove to Bryce and Zion so being halfway between was great! The Sevier breakfast diner was wonderful, made for a great start to our day! An additional bathroom or even a 1/2 bath would have been nice, but overall I’d recommend this place to anyone!

Highlights start with great location. We hiked a diverse mixture of trails In Dixie National Forest, Bryce Canyon and Escalante during our five-day with our longest drive being to one-hour to Upper Calf Creek Fall Loop in Escalante National Monument. Each evening enjoyed a glass of celebratory wine next to the gas-lite fire pit and ate a grilled dinner outside. Prior to dinner my older daughter put up a hammock and enjoyed her Emerson readings next to a running creek. In spite of the owners offering us total privacy, my inquisitive wife found Gordon and Mariam willing to share their love of the area and some of the projects they are undertaking to further improve the premises. We found the house roomy, well decorated, and would have been fine spending more time inside had it not been for the superb fall weather. Having no laundry facilities was the only limitation in an otherwise perfect stay.

We rented this property because we have a big family. We came to see Zion and Bryce. The property was lovely with enough room for all of us. We had beautiful morning coffee talks on the patio and the kitchen was well stocked for our many meals. Close enough to both parks to make day trips and be home to sleep in comfy beds. We had a great time!

The space is brand new and well appointed. The location was perfect for my family as we visited Bryce and Zion. With more time, there was so much more to see. Our hosts went above and beyond to see that we had a great stay as well. If you are looking for an adventurous get-away you won't find a better place to make home-base.

Very nice property, but still a work in progress.
This is a lovely three bedroom apartment located very central to the areas we were visiting. Since there is only one small bathroom it would have been nice to have more storage for our personal items. There is a nice wardrobe in each bedroom, but no area for smaller items. A small dresser of some sort would be helpful. There is a gas grill and firepit outside with plenty of seating with the sound of the nearby creek in the background. Once the landscaping is finished, it will be perfect. Gordon was very easy to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again if we ever find ourselves in that part of the country.
