"We enjoyed our stay at Sivalai Beach Resort very much. The staff are kind, observant and diligent. The facilities are highly maintenanced and both indoor and outdoor areas are kept clean, even the beaches are being swept, an effort that are highly apreciated. And most importantly, the kitchen there is really doing a great job. In all, we had a really time there."

"This is an older property, that was a peaceful and enjoyable place to stay. The staff were professional, attentive, and friendly. I really liked being up in a higher hillside setting, for the views. The top deck pool was a great place to hang out, and scan the horizon. There are plenty of additional restaurants along the beach. The property is on a hillside, which means climbing a lot of stairs. This was fine for me, as I am in good shape. "

"We stayed 6 days in 1 of the newer beachfront units. Great view of the beach/ocean. King bed, large bathroom, A/C and a small fridge. Simple but great! No safe, but if you leave your room locked you dont need one. Cleaning staff will leave toilet paper, 2 bottles of water daily on the deck table outside. Towels too if you request them. "The eco-focus of this adorable hotel shines through. The fantastic dinner was a delightful surprise, with local dishes I hadn't previously experienced. The service was delightful and the location is a perfect jumping-off spot for the Trang islands. The eco-consciousness of this hotel is present without feeling overt - really delightful. "

"The owners were very helpful and kind. The food was excellent and cheap! The beach went on for a mile or more. The owners left me in peace but right there when i needed anything. The only bad part was the bed and pillows. The bed is a half inch piece of foam wrapped around a wooden box placed on top of another wood box. The pillows felt similar. "

"The Reef resort was lovely as were the staff who were extremely friendly and attentive. They pride themselves on their scuba diving and beautiful reef which can be accessed using the paddle boards or kayaks which are free to use. This island is very small and underdeveloped which was our main reason for visiting, and while the Reef resort was amazing an adult only option would have been a better choice for us. If you are a family travelling with children you will not be disappointed "
